AIDS: A Family Experience Produced by Weatherstone Productions
AIDS: A Family Experience is a moving account of a family in crisis and the indomitable strength of the human spirit. Family members speak openly and candidly about their reactions to finding out that one of their own--Don--has AIDS. The viewer sees them struggling unselfconsciously with their ambivalent feelings and trying to come to terms with the fact that a loved one is dying of this dreaded disease. The result is a lesson for us all. This is a must-see film for all caregivers involved in counseling AIDS victims and their family members and for AIDS patients and family themselves. - Death Studies The video has many strengths. Although it is one family's very personal and unique experience, the video presents many common themes and concerns. - Oncology Nursing Forum Color, 33 minutes,
